The popular science fiction film “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” debuts in June. The largest cash robbery in History occurs in New York when $9,800,000 is stolen from an armored car. Disney Futuristic Park EPCOT (Experimental Community Of Tomorrow )is opened. Severe recession begins in the United States.
